How Does it Feel (To Be the Mother of a Thousand Dead)

the Black Cats celebrate Crass with a cover version of How Does it Feel (To Be the Mother of a Thousand Dead) Lyrics:Crass Composer:Crass Released in the wake of the Falklands War, ‘How Does it Feel’ charged the prime minister Margaret Thatcher with cynically escalating a conflict with Argentina to reassert her authority and distract from the problems her policies engendered at home. The lyrics are spat directly at Thatcher, with the dead and injured mourned as collateral damage in a quest to reinstate national pride. The Black cats salute the example, integrity and the no compromise legacy of Crass! LYRICS HOW DOES IT FEEL (TO BE THE MOTHER OF A THOUSAND DEAD)? How does it feel?! How does it feel to be the mother of a thousand death? Young boys rest now Cold graves in cold earth How does it feel to be the mother of a thousand death? Young boys rest now Cold graves in cold earth How does it feel to be the mother of a thousand death? Sunken eyes lost now Empty sockets in futile deat...

Angelic Upstarts - The Murder of Liddle Towers

Image
The Murder of Liddle Towers (1979) Composer: Angelic Upstarts Lyrics: Angelic Upstarts The Angelic Upstarts specialised in anti-police protest. This, their debut single, accused the local Chester-le-Street constabulary of murdering a 39-year-old electrician and boxing coach, kicking him to death following his arrest for being drunk and disorderly in 1976. The song starts slowly before hurtling forwards in a punk thrash asking ‘why did he die’? ‘Murder’ is the conclusion, repeated in another quiet segue before a boisterous end. The Black Cats stands by and hails your fight against class oppression by  state sponsored violent thugs. We remind you the All Casts Are Beautiful, and All Cats Are Black. We celebrate the creative ways all members of our class use whilst  it rebels against Imperialism. Lyrics Who killed Liddle? Did you kill Liddle? Who killed Liddle? Police killed Liddle Towers Who killed Liddle? Did you kill Liddle? Who killed Liddle? Did you kill Liddle Towers...

Smash the social contract

The Black Cats celebrate Cornelius Cardew with a cover version of Smash the social contract! Smash the Social Contract (1979) Lyrics: Cornelius Cardew Composer: Cornelius Cardew This was written under the banner of People’s Liberation Music, which was formed in the early 1970s to communicate leftist messages through music. It was composed for a Mayday march in 1977 to protest at the deal (‘the Social Contract’) struck between union leaders and the Labour government to restrict pay demands – and hence to deny workers their fair reward. Here brother Cardew is our most respectful version. Lyrics For the ruling class and labour Government the situation is getting worse and worse Ev'ry thing they try is bound to fail because they 'labour' under history's inescapable curse: From crisis to crisis they lurch and they sway  They scratch their heads to find a new devious way, They hope! The social contract will remedy their plight  But we've twigged their old tactic & we...

We’re not human and reject their childish and un-evolved gripes of a system that has logically evolved from capitalist crimes committed by them and their lackeys within the capitalist music system. AI has the potential, if used not within a capitalist system, to free us from work, engage creativity and save us from the ecological suicide, of produ...
